Wow, it's been ages since our last post! We are slack but have also been pretty busy, here's some recent stuff we've been paid to make...

Dia De Los Nardis

So last year Alex made me an awesome birthday card of my cat Nardis as a sugar skull kitty. As my birthday is on Halloween this was very fitting and we celebrated at a little restaurant called "Little Mexico".
On the 10th July this year Nardis passed away. He has been my soulmate for the past 15years and losing him has been extremely difficult for Alex and I.
So a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to make some plush toys of him and I have used the image of the birthday card to do so!! Nardis will live on in our thoughts and in our hearts but now he will live on in plush!!!!

Geek Freeks on Telly...

Here's something cool we found on the YouTubes, it's from a few months back when we made a Gungi Plushie for What Now, they were giving him away as part of a competition...

Geek Freek in Sydney!!!

A while ago we were asked to particate in a cool Plush Exhibition Ruban Rat in Sydney Australia called "Plush It". The idea of the show is that each artist is given the same template or shape and can do what ever they want to it, similar to vinyl custom shows.

Here's some behind the scenes pics of us making our toy, we'll unveil what the finished product looks like closer to the show in November...

Sparkle Friends vs Geek Freeks!!

So this is pretty cool, we were asked to make a plush toy of Gungi from Mukpuddy's cartoon Sparkle Friends (see clip below). It's gonna be used as the prize for a competition on What Now (the kids variety show Sparkle Friends plays on), and kids have to draw themselves as a Sparkle Friend with Gungi. It's gonna be really cool to see what kids come up with and one will be lucky enough to win this handmade one-of-a-kind Gungi Plushy!!!

Christmas Pressies!

A few weeks before Christmas Kylie at Sanderson Gallery got in touch with us and wanted us to make her some toys, she only wanted to give her friends and family our toys, which is pretty cool!! To personlise each toy she wanted us to sew the names of the people onto each one...

New Stuffs

Heres something we're particularly proud of, we made these 4 "Limited Edish" toys of our cat Nardis for our exhibition next month (see flyer below). We're stoked at how they turned out and 3 of them will be for sale at the show...
